ABOUT ME
Matilde Elena Guerrero
Bogota, Colombia 1982.
I obtained my BA degree in 2013, from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University of Bogota. I’ve participated in several national selected group exhibitions such as, Nuevos Nombres 2017- 2018, Espacios al tiempo, Aún 44th edition of the Salon Nacional de artistas and the Festival of performance of Cali. My last Solo exhibition Promised Lands, took place at the Valenzuela Klenner Gallery in 2016.
In search for a direct relation with the interlocutor, looking for what we have in common, I try to do insertions in local territories, through the powers of the plastic languages to show how those territories are being built.
